A look at how simplicity can sharpen communication, increase impact, and build longer-lasting brands.

Whatspam Company rolls out Spamdog app.

This is more than a rename. It is a full evolution of the product: a new identity, a redesigned app experience, and new protection features that take the platform further while keeping the core purpose exactly where it belongs, helping people stay safer from scams, spam, and digital fraud.

If you’ve used WhatSpam app before, the transition is simple. Your existing account remains the same, your subscription is still valid, and your protection continues without interruption.

What changed

WhatSpam is now Spamdog.

We chose the new name because it better reflects the product we have been building: alert, protective, sharp, and focused on sniffing out unwanted and malicious activity across the channels people use every day.

Alongside the rebrand, we have redesigned the app to feel cleaner, clearer, and more capable. The experience has been refreshed throughout, with a stronger visual identity and a more polished interface, while keeping the product familiar for existing users.

This is the same mission, carried forward with a stronger name and a better product.

What’s new in this release

This release introduces several important additions:

1-click Unsubscribe for Pro users

For eligible email messages, Pro users can now unsubscribe in a single tap.

This feature is designed to reduce friction and help users cut down unwanted email faster. Instead of manually searching for unsubscribe links or going through multiple steps, Spamdog makes the process far more direct when supported.

AI-powered fraud detection for Pro Max users

Pro Max now includes AI-powered fraud detection.

This adds a new layer of intelligence to the product, helping identify potentially deceptive or malicious content with greater depth. As fraud tactics continue to evolve, this capability gives Spamdog a stronger foundation for helping users spot and avoid digital threats.

What stays the same

While the name and experience have changed, the essentials remain intact.

Spamdog continues to help protect users from:

  • scam calls

  • suspicious text messages

  • spam emails

  • phishing and smishing attempts

  • other forms of digital fraud

The core product users already rely on is still here. This update builds on that foundation rather than replacing it.

No disruption for existing users

One thing we wanted to make absolutely clear: existing users do not need to worry about the transition.

If you already had an account with WhatSpam, it remains your account in Spamdog.

If you already had a subscription, it continues as normal.

There is nothing you need to re-purchase, restore, or manually transfer.

The rebrand does not reset your relationship with the product. It simply moves it forward.

Why we made this change

Over time, it became clear that the product had grown beyond the boundaries of the old presentation.

WhatSpam served us well, but Spamdog better captures both the spirit and direction of the app. It feels more distinctive, more memorable, and more aligned with a product built to actively guard users against unwanted and harmful contact.

This update is about bringing the identity up to the level of the product itself.

Looking ahead

Spamdog marks an important step forward, but not the final one.

We see this release as a stronger foundation for what comes next: more capable protection, smarter detection, and a more refined experience across the product.

The mission remains simple: help people feel more secure, more in control, and less exposed to scams, spam, and fraud in everyday digital life.

To everyone who has used WhatSpam and is now moving forward with us as Spamdog, thank you.

Your support has helped shape this product into what it is today. We’re excited for what comes next, and even more excited to keep building it with you.
